The Happy Girl Story

Hi there! My name is Ginger, and I'm so glad to meet you! The Happy Girl Project started as nothing more than just a little art therapy project that I made up for myself. I never thought I'd end up sharing it with anyone. As a mom with a diagnosis of complex PTSD, I came to the place where I felt that I needed to do something to fight my way out of my darkness, if for nothing else than to be able to show my kiddo the light of joy in life. It was (and still is some days) one hell of a fight, but it is SO worth it! Now, I'm using The Happy Girl Project to challenge other girls and women to do the same for themselves.

So many of us women have been through hard times, disappointments, heartbreaks, and even traumas. No matter what you've been through, no matter what kind of darkness you find yourself in, there is light on the other side. It may be one hell of a fight to find it but, my dear, you are SO worth it!
